"This is a newly renovated facade of a casino in Mauritius. The client's objective was to highlight this facade by projecting an amazing light.
The place was a little remote from the main road and the challenge was to make this facade visible from a hundred meters to improve the visibility of the casino and, also in a second step, the enhancement of this "decorative painting".Performing this exercise with Studio Due lighting fixtures was a no-brainer thanks to their resistance to Mauritius' cyclonic weather, build quality and performances.
The project was carried out by Francesco Martinelli of Studio Due Technical Department . In order to achieve the best homogeneous rendering on this facade 20x10 mts high, we decided to place 30 x Compactbar RGBWA at 100mm from the bottom and top of the building. Following this study, a custom metal structure was set up to host the projectors at a distance of 400mm from the wall, with a paint corresponding to the Ral of the Compactbar.
The result is impressive, the desidered lumens are present, homogeneity is there, a dynamic programming to attract attention, a great "wow effect".
A phase 2 on another side of the building is expected in a few months"
