LIGHTING DESIGN: Francesco Martinelli, dipartimento tecnico Studio Due

USED STUDIO DUE PRODUCTS:

  • for Santa Maria Assunta: linear luminaires of the Slimbarplus and Archibar series and underground luminaires of the Terra series to ensure a very low visual impact and no obstacles on the flooring;

  • for Santa Maria della Stella: luminaires from the Archibar series , as the Parled spot (using medium optics on the main body and narrower to illuminate the bell tower) and inground Terra series

Project: the Studio Due lighting project has equipped the two churches of Santa Maria Assunta and Santa Maria della Stella with a new RGBW Led outdoor lighting system, giving better night visibility to the main architectural components of the ancient buildings.

The Studio Due fixtures chosen for the project are state-of-the-art equipment, small in size, which can be perfectly integrated into the architecture of the building. The RGBW Led sources provide high quality light with extremely low consumption. In particular, the same white obtained from RGBW source made it possible to generate a color temperature ( 2875 K) with a high CRI able to adapt to the different materials of the facades (plaster for Santa Maria della Stella and stone for Santa Maria Assunta) making them stand out. The projectors, in fact, have a power between 16 and 60 W. The energy consumption is much lower than traditional sources. Furthermore, if you consider that Led technology requires a much lower level of maintenance you can achieve cost savings up to 70% compared to a lamp-based lighting system.
